Hi, I’m Christopher Landon McDonald, a professional photographer based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I specialize in creative portraiture with a focus on athletes, while also working with corporations, brokerages, and nonprofit organizations on a variety of professional photography projects.
My passion for photography began when I was around eight years old, after finding my first Fuji film camera at a garage sale in my hometown of Sebring, Florida. That early curiosity sparked a lifelong creative journey—starting with short films and passion projects, eventually evolving into a deep love for still photography.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with a wide range of clients across industries, working on everything from brand campaigns to editorial content and personal portraits. While I’ve explored many creative avenues, I always find myself returning to photography—the place where I feel most connected to people and their stories.
In 2019, I fully recommitted to photography and launched Christopher Landon Photography. Since then, it has grown into one of the most rewarding aspects of my life, allowing me to capture moments that matter, and create images that reflect the personality, grit, and authenticity of each subject I work with.
